ForeCoast® Marine joins Northern Powerhouse on Offshore Energy Mission to the Netherlands
Last week our ForeCoast® Marine Operations Manager, Edward Kay, joined the Northern Powerhouse Mission to Offshore Energy Amsterdam. The annual event, which combines the oil, gas, marine energy and offshore wind sectors, brought together over 550 exhibitors and partners and over 10,000 visitors in the Amsterdam RAI.
With this year’s theme being “Home of Energy Transition”, the event provided a fantastic opportunity to do business, network and make new collaborations with companies wishing to embrace the opportunities that the low carbon economy represents.
International trade
The Northern Powerhouse Mission was hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT) with support from the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce and Team Humber Marine Alliance. The “Powerhouse” delegates, which formed part of a wider UK trade mission, were joined by mission delegates from Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan and the United States. So, the opportunities discussed were truly international.
The next Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference takes place on 26, 27 and 28 October 2020.
