Edward Kay joins Northern Powerhouse offshore energy trade mission to the Netherlands

This week, Edward Kay, ForeCoast® Marine Operations Manager, is joining fellow companies from the Northern Powerhouse region on a trade mission to the Netherlands and the Offshore Energy Exhibition 2018 in Amsterdam. The Mission, which is hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT), will allow delegates from the region to explore the opportunities in the Netherlands’ offshore energy sector. The Dutch central government is aiming to ensuring that 14% of all energy used in the Netherlands is sustainable by 2020 and 16% by 2023. We have teamed up with the British Ports Association (BPA) to host a workshop on 13 November in London, aimed at disseminating the findings of an innovative new service to assess the impact of current and future metocean conditions on port operations.
